New Entertainment Highlights

The 2026 Sydney Royal Easter Show delivers an entertainment line-up designed to thrill from day to night, with confirmed favourites returning alongside fresh, immersive experiences. In ENGIE Stadium, expect heart-racing action from David “The Bullet” Smith’s Human Cannonball, high-energy motocross and quad bike stunts, precision showjumping and powerful evening storytelling. Night-time arena highlights include Tribute to Banjo and the breathtaking equine spectacle Imagine a Horse, before each day concludes with a spectacular fireworks finale.

When the sun goes down, the Show truly comes alive. The new Street Parade After Dark transforms the Grand Parade with glowing animal lanterns, pulsing music and swirling colour, while Jamison Station After Dark invites visitors to wander through illuminated farm animals and rural scenes in a uniquely atmospheric experience. Over at the Honky Tonk stage, live music and entertainment run from morning into the night, creating a buzzing, festival-style hub to eat, drink and linger with friends.

Families will find plenty to love, with Dorothy the Dinosaur and Friends and a special on-stage appearance by Bluey delighting younger fans. Crowd favourites like the K9 Superwall Challenge add fast-paced animal action, while The Conjurer brings a touch of mystery with playful, interactive fortune-telling throughout the day. From daylight thrills to glowing night-time moments, entertainment is a major reason to make the 2026 Sydney Royal Easter Show an all-day, all-night experience.

Hands on Activations

At the heart of the Sydney Royal Easter Show is the chance to get hands-on with life on the land, and in 2026 these country-to-city experiences remain as rich, welcoming and interactive as ever. From paddocks to pavilions, families can step straight into farm life, meeting the animals, people and practices that shape Australian agriculture. It’s not just about seeing – it’s about touching, trying, learning and sharing moments together.

Jamison Station invites visitors to roam among crops, tractors and friendly farm animals, encouraging kids and adults alike to slow down, explore and connect with the rhythms of rural life. Over at the Farmyard Nursery, little hands can feed, pat and mingle with gentle animals in an open, sensory space designed for curiosity and discovery. Experiences like walking an alpaca or meeting playful piglets turn simple encounters into memorable, confidence-building moments, guided by passionate experts who love to answer questions.

Across the Show, interactive learning continues with sheep shearing demonstrations, alpaca shearing, native wildlife encounters and the Riverina Fresh Working Dairy, where visitors can see modern farming in action and better understand where their food and fibre come from. These hands-on activations bring the country to the city in the most meaningful way – through participation, storytelling and experiences that stay with you long after the Show ends.

Competition Showcases

Every year, the Sydney Royal Easter Show brings together Australia’s finest producers, makers, and exhibitors in a spectacular celebration of skill, passion, and tradition. Across the Show’s arenas, pavilions and judging rings, thousands of competitors vie for top honours – from champion livestock and prize-winning produce to beautifully crafted cakes, preserves, art and design.

Visitors can witness live judging and feel the buzz as ribbons are awarded, animals parade, and experts debate the finest details that define true excellence. It’s a rare chance to see behind the scenes of Australia’s agricultural and creative heart – where dedication meets craftsmanship, and generations of knowledge are brought to life.

Whether it’s the precision of the woodchop, the artistry of horticulture, or the proud gleam of a grand champion bull, every competition tells a story of perseverance and pride. These moments capture the essence of the Show: the celebration of rural achievement and community spirit that continues to inspire year after year.
